Xbox1 audio problem

Hey

Got an Xbox1, plugged it in and theres no sound, pictures working ok tho!

Any ideas? Is broken sound a common problem on these or not? I've no idea

Any tips or anything? Tried googling to no avail, no point in turning it into a media centre if I cant hear anything!

I don't recall any known problems with the sound on the original Xbox.

Things to try (if you haven't already):

1) Plug the composite cable directly into the tv without the scart adapter on the end
2) Try connecting the cable to another TV
3) Borrow another cable from a friend (if possible)

i think its my cable thats knackered ( didnt think cables could break!!! ) its one of them blaze 3 in 1s, works with ps2s, and gamecubes as well (has 3 connectors one end, 1 scart the other) just robbed my mates ps2 and thats got no sound either now

at least its not broke, annoying tho!
