Xbox360 1.1?

Is there any plan for a 1.1 version? Maybe with built in HD-DVD and smaller components?

Consoles almost never get any new iterations that add extra features. If they are, then those would be sold in limited quantities and at a ridiculous price (ie, Sony PSX)

It would also force the price up, doing a 'Playstation 3'

I doubt it, it would cause the prices to rise again for the console.

They are changing the cpu in the 360 sometime in 2007 to a 65nm cpu so that it uses less power (less heat and less chance of overheating).

I would buy a new 360 if it had a built in HD-DVD drive but I cant see it happening.

The 360 will not have a built in HD-DVD drive since the HD-DVD drive cant read the data of a normal DVD quick enough from what i remeber

That wouldn't be the case, I think MS have said they'll not consider it, or wont do it for a while anyway.

the hd inside the 360 is a bad idea they already struggle with heat and adding a hd would really push it over the edge imho and the only way they could combat it would be to stick more fans in which would increase noise

What are you talking about? Adding a HD-DVD drive wouldn't add any more heat at all I wouldn't have thought, it's just a different type of laser that'll read the disc, and it spins slower too I believe.
