IMO the gamerscore just shows how big someones wallet is...

What about swapping games, or buying one at £49.99, selling it on the MM for £30 and buying a new one for £20?

What about the, albeit slightly dishonest, routine that a few people do of buying a game, playing it, and taking it back to Game under the 10 day turnaround?

Ahh, I <3 doing that :) I figure as long as I don't abuse it, it's not too bad :P

That's exactly what I do. I buy a game, play it, finish it then either trade it in or sell it and buy something else.

I for one LOVE the system, so far its only open to minor exploits and all require thought, dedication and skill to achieve if not all three at once. This system has really driven me to keep at games and try to excel in order to up my gamer points. I think it adds a whole new dimension to games and really gives them replayability.

Well done MS, although it will probably leave me poor and hungry due to buying every game under the sun to keep the points up i think its a wicked system.

Great post and it's exactly how I feel.
