Xbox360 controller on DOD:S

Right, just a quick question. I've got a wired Xbox 360 pad for my PC that I use to play GRID and a couple other games with. Now I'd like to have it set up so that I can play Day of Defeat Source with it. For some reason all the buttons are mapped but the thumbsticks are only allowing left and right looking, not up and down looking and it's as if the game is completely ignoring the right stick. So basically I can do everything apart from look up and down. Is there any way to configure this pad for Source games?

Thanks in advance and please, no posts saying that I'll get owned online by people with keyboards and mice etc, I'm just after some helpful advice and bashing my choice of peripheral isn't really an answer to my problem. Cheers.

xpadder will allow you to map the right analogue stick to mouse vert.

Not sure of the answer however I had the exact same problem with this.

I think the controller did work in portal though so perhaps it isn't a problem across all source games.

Cheers for the reply. Although it seems that program isn't free, I don't really want to spend £10 on something that I should be able to achieve for nothing.
