xbox360 downloads, am i doing something wrong?

after hearing good things about dead rising i thought i would try the demo before donwloding the full thing. I havent downloaded anything for months (fnr3 when it was first out) and before the new download manager thing.

Now if i leave it on the dash downloading it keeps signing out and appears to stop my download :confused:

. Got it running pgr3 at the mo and it seems to work but it makes a lot more noise + heat while doing this

back when i had a netgear router my xbox360 used to cut out downloads and sign out if there was something other than my wall blocking the signal, i.e if i walked between the router and xbox. now i have a linksys router whihc is better and all is dandy

I may be getting the wrong end of the stick but with me playing games like PGR3 stops my downloads as its always uploading and checkin scores for lap times etc.

yes as far as i know you cant dl while playin pgr3

I get that, after a while my 360 goes to the save power mode and stops my download, which is annoying. Also I don'think you can download and play a game at the same time.

you can play a game offline but if you play on live then it pauses the download.

Saints Row stops the downloading even if you are playing offline, by the sounds of things, PGR3 is the same.
