Hi, wonder if anybody knows if this is possible?

I have 1 account on my xbox360 at the moment with 12 months Live, today i downloaded a lot of them arcade games and unlocked them under my account. Well now my wife wants to play, lol - so was thinking if i setup another account and just left it a silver under her new gamertag will she be able to play the unlocked games i downloaded and get her own online score and achievements and not effect mine. Then we can see both her name and mine on the leaderboards and achievements are logged per account.

anybody done this?

Any purchased downloads are only unlocked on the profile they were downloaded on. Also only the profile with the Gold Live! subscription can be used to play online.

The Silver Live! subscription would allow your wife to download onto her profile but not to play your unlocked versions. You can get a 1 month Gold Live! sub with a new profile though (but this still will not let you play the unlocked games from your profile).

well sorted and your actually wrong.

I've set up 3 more accounts, one for the wife and the two kids, the wife and one of the kids got the gold 1 month trail and the other got a silver with no option for a free month ( must be a limit for fee subscriptions)

Have added all accounts to each others friends list and all accounts be it gold or silver can play the arcade downloaded games that i downloaded on my main live 12 month account, each have full access to the games i have downloaded and purchased i.e fully unlocked and each have access to the friends list leaderboard ( so we can compare highscores) and also each have there own achievement progress.

No more family arguements on who got what achievements anymore, lol

Well you learn something new everyday. I always thought that what you downloaded on your profile was locked for you only.

Well, you need to look at it as, if only the account holder on the Xbox 360 could play downloaded Live Arcade games on their profile, then it would be like only letting games like PGR3 etc, from a Disk, to be played on only one account.

It works well in my opinion, avoids wasted money anyway.
