Can anyone help me...

I would like to get a VGA cable and connect my 360 to my new Iiyama E2201W... but where do I plug the stereo cables?

The Microsoft offical VGA cable comes with 2 audio connectors (the left white connector, and the red right connector). You will need to plug these in to a stero / amp of some description.

Also the offical cable comes with a converter to (from memory) a 3.5 jack, so if all else fails you could in theory (it did it for a day to see how it was) plug it in to the mic port on your PC's sound card.

Lastly, on the actual plug that fits in to the 360 there is a digital connector there in case you have equipment that can be connected to it for true surround sound and whatever else.

Personally I have mine connected to a hifi, and it does the job perfectly - albeit I am just using the white/red audio connectors so I am not getting surround sound.

I have my Xbox connected to my monitor using the VGA lead too. For some stupid reason though, the phono to 3.5mm they supply is phono to male 3.5mm not female. As the cable is not only short but chunky it's hard to get it reach to your speakers (if they have a 3.5mm socket which a lot don't) or PC sound card (line in). So I bought a female to female 3.5mm barrel and have hooked it up to a nice set of 2.1 speakers.

The quality though my lowly 19" CRT is simply amazing. Getting a 24"LCD next week so things will improve even more :D
