XBOX360 remote (HP MCE unit)

hello,

recently bought a remote of a certain auction site. its a HP media centre remote control that is "SUPPOSED" to work with the 360 too. so i bought one as they look great and cost a grand total of 99p

thing arrive today and it looks great, far more buttons then the microsoft one and some really usefull features.

trouble is it doesnt flaming work. anyone bought one of these ? if so do you have to configure it etc. if so how?

heard a few people getting these things said they work fine, i see it on avforums so maybe search there for some info?

Have u tried doing the remote setup from the dashboard?

cheers that worked, change the remote to accept all remotes and jobs a good un, thanks again.

well recomended, far better thrn the microsoft unit and only 99p

Do ya know if this will work with the 360 with windows media connect (XP PRO)?

Mine arrived yesterday - great bit of kit. Worked straight off with the 360 and makes MCE a lot more useable (I have a core package so was previously using the controller).

Still cant belive it was only 99p!

i know , really is the best bargain iv ever picked up off the bay. love the shortcut buttons along the top to just instantly go to pics, tv, vids.

shame i didnt come across these earlier. I picked up what i thought was a bargain. £5 for a proper small 360 unit. only to find out that when it arrived all the flaming button where in chinese.
