Has something changed since NXE regarding the 360 and NAT?

I have TCP/UDP 3074 and UDP 88 port forwarded to the 360. That used to get me 'Open NAT' on the network test but now it's complaining about being Strict.

What do those of you who have it manually set up (i.e. no UPnP or DMZ) for Open NAT have as far as port forwarding goes?

TCP 80
UDP 88
UDP 3074
TCP 3074
UDP 53
TCP 53

Turn off uPnP also if you've using port forwarding.
Other option is to static IP your 360 and dump it in a DMZ (if your router is capable of this anyway)

Thanks guys.

Isn't TCP80 for http servers and UDP53 for DNS servers? Why does the 360 need to accept incoming connections on those?

AFAIK TCP80 and TCP/UDP53 were only added to the list after the NXE update. Something to do with the NXE channels I think? (Spotlight etc...)

Shurely shome mishtake.

Having to forward TCP 80 to the XBOX is just weird/wrong - if you have a router with remote http admininstration, or are otherwise serving webpages, the XBOX business would nix it. Why on earth would they choose TCP port 80?
