Well, being a hardened UFO and TFTD vet, I'm planning on going straight to Impossible Ironman.

And uploading it all to youtube :p

Pre-ordered. Nice demo, and hopefully a nice slick full game to play through.

And CIV 5 too, all for £23 is a great deal.

If only they had re-made Jagged Alliance 2 like this!
 
I’ve pre purchased this through GMG and got my XCOM code straight away and it’s preloading now but I didn’t get a key for CIV 5. Should the CIV 5 code also have been sent or does that activate when XCOM is installed?

They have said the CIV 5 keys will be sent out on the day of release in your region.
 
I'd never used GMG before but when i saw the above prices with the voucher i took the plunge and ordered a while back.

On GMG under "My Games" it lists Xcom and when i view keys it tells me:
xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

Does this format/length seem correct? I was expecting a CDkey to be a lot bigger than this so im unsure if im looking in the wrong place or not can anyone please clarify? (No im not going to paste my key for someone to check....:rolleyes:)

I only ask because theres talk about keys being sent out but i havent recieved anything from GMG?

From what I remember that looks right, copy it into Steam and see if you can preload (if you wish to use Steam).

Each to their own, RPS has for a long time now been my trusted goto gaming site, if you are the type that likes to skip the actual content and read the number at the end maybe you should check out IGN or Gamesradar or something.

The guys that write those reviews are some of the most experienced and well known reviewers in the games industry. But hey, reading's hard :p
