Has anyone got one of these or used one?

I know they can run Excel Mobile, can they also run a verion of Word?

I am interested in getting one of these as I run a rally sms results service and this will allow me to send them Live from an event.

I will be collecting e-mails, putting mobile numbers into a word document then sending to all numbers from a web based admin panel. I take it this is possible?

Sounds ideal. There's versions of Word, Excel and Powerpoint viewer. If you're going to be using a web interface, I'd reccomend getting something like the XDA Exec - the 640x480 screen will be a godsend for using a web interface, as well as the decent size QWERTY keyboard and 3G.

Thanks for the reply mate - that looks like the thing I need!

I will be using this with a pay as you go sim card, probably o2. Am I right in assuming that it will just use the pre pay credit for data while I am online?

It will be used quite a lot in the south of Ireland, which means I will be using a southern sim card also, will this make a difference?

If I remember I'll put my o2 PAYG SIM in later and find out. Thing is, the Exec is pretty expensive sim-free, but o2 online are doing really good deals - £149 on any contract

Edit: Works fine on PAYG.
