Looking at the two Xebec HTPC keyboards, anyone had any experience with them? Read a review which said it was fairly decent but it was just the normal one, wondering which to go for the normal or the bluetooth one... Or neither?:p

Nobody replied to this... odd.

I bought the 2.4ghz wifi one. Initial impressions are good, the keys really surprised me, they feel decent and not cheap!

I do have one problem which needs sorting asap, the battery cover seems badly made on mine and it will not sit flush and has fallen out for no reason, not even a few days old yet. Im gathering it was just bad luck lol. I can go direct to ocuk and rma it or go to xebec and grovel for the part. Going to xebec could end up saving me postage (if they will send me the bit)

If they send me that part then I will be very impressed :D

Well if you do want one of these keyboards then think long and hard about it!
Xebec have ignored me and worst still, so has the well known and respected company where I bought it from :(

Never heard of that brand and best of luck getting it sorted.
I use a DiNovo Mini on mine and love it - expensive, but worth it.

Couldn't agree more. I have the mini, fantastic bit of kit. I have also used the Keysonic keyboards that are not too dissimilar to the Xebec. Half tidy and do the job in fairness.

I ordered a Lenovo 5902, looks like a really cool piece of kit, but unfortunately I had to buy one from China and it hasn't arrived yet and probably won't for sometime. But it get sreally good reviews and is like £40.

^ Funnily enough it arrived today and what a fantastic piece of kit, small yet intuitive and comfy to use, backlit, media keys, and very well built. Highly recommend this!

Is it ok to trust me the best place to buy it?

I can't find anyone in the UK that stocks it and it looks half decent as well!

I currently have a Logitech Di Novo and it's not exactly great, weird key placements amongst other niggles that really let it down.

^ I've sent you a trust. I bought it from an online place in China, all genuine Lenovo product too, for some reason they aren't readily available from UK suppliers.

I've only got two gripes with it after using for a while, the buttons don't have an overly nice feel to them, too clicky and like blackberry keyboards but not really a big issue as its not designed to write a novel on, and the touchpad takes getting used to, but its meant to be much more reliable than a trackball.

Yep free shipping and £38.99 to be precise, I think its the sale price too.

Also don't get caught out with the old model the N5901.
