XenApp Plugin time-out

Hi All

I have been tasked with updating the thin client build we use and one of those components is updating to the Xenapp for Hosted Apps Plugin (11.0.0.5357). The scenario is as follows:

The thin client logs in locally and PNAgent is set to "Prompt User" so it displays a login box for the user to login. With the new Xenapp Plugin there appears to be a time-out where the login box will close itself after about 60seconds. This is not what we want. I cant seem to find any info with my google skills so I am hoping someone here can tell me if there is something I can do, if this is a setting in the server xml or something?

I thought it sounded like a bug/device problem, but I've just tried it and you're right, it does close after 60 seconds. I can sort of understand why they did it - would it not be acceptable to put a shortcut on the desktop and explain to users what they need to do?
Alternatively, a simple vbscript might get around it. Cant see anything in the config, locally or on the PN agent site config so you might need to speak to Citrix about it.
 
Great, thanks for trying that. I just wanted to confirm that its working "how it should" or if there was a setting I could change in config.xml, failing that its going to boil down to talking to Citrix or a bit of user education. Thanks again!
 
No worries.
Alternatively, I assume these are XPe terminals? You can join them to the domain and use passthrough authentication, might give a more seamless user experience
