Xenoblade Chronicles X

Anyone still playing this? Just finished a couple of PS4 games and was going to flog my Wii U, but give this another go and I'm addicted! Amazing graphics the Wii U is pulling off here, what an truly epic game.

A bit complicated at first but there is tons of online help which has cleared up every question.

Best JRPG I've played in a very long time, better than the original so far.

Yup on and off. Takes a few minutes to re-adjust (mainly to the WiiU Gamepad) but once that is done I am off.

Working through another sub class to get that mastered. Kept my long sword from my previous subclass as I like it.

I was blown away by the sheer scope of it, but in fact a little bit too much I think! I just don't have the time to commit to games like that nowadays unfortunately, so as a result I sold my copy :( :o

Thinking of doing the same with the Wii U, as in the last 12 months I haven't used it apart from for a few hours of Xenoblade!

Yeah still going back to it - I tend to play it in-between finishing other games, I'm determined (and motivated) to get 100% of Mira explored. The more I play the more I realise how brilliant the hexagonal map system is.

Boarding your Skell and taking to the skies never gets old

I'm using a 3rd party "normal" pad, and have the big pad on my desk. Playing it through my AV system on my PC monitor, it looks stunning, and the combat is a breath of fresh air, as is are the rpg elements.

I can't believe the Wii U is pumping this out! I think it's an rpg game you can spend an hour on here and there, as the story is seems pretty easy to follow and remember, even after leaving it for 6 months!

EDIT: I'd keep your Wii U if you're a Zelda fan :)

I haven't got my Skell yet, and to be honest I wonder around in games like this for hours :) so it'll be a while!

Ive had the game since launch but my son was born just before it so i havent had loads of time to but into it still only level 21 lol, but the last week ive been having longer sessions on it and its an amazing game a bit hard to get to grips with and understand whats what but once u understand even the basics u can still progress.
