Xeon e3 1225 v3 vs r7 2700x

Ahh thats interesting. The xeon is used for server duties and once a month helps out with video encoding but it gets destroyed by the 5800x when encoding to x265 in handbrake.
Not sure if should build server around 2700x or change my 5800x cpu to 5900x or 5950x to speed up encoding
