Xeon X3210 quad vs q6600 quad

Yes the q6600 is faster at stock but how good is the Xeon quad ?

Can it be overclocked ?

I'm interested to know as I have spotted them at SILLY money !

What would be interesting to know is as to what mobos are compatible with the Xeon but in all fairness from what I have seen over the past few months the motherboard doesn't have to be that special as the Xeon is a Kentsfield.

Hi there

Yes the two OcUK are selling will fit into Intel 975X mainboards and work no issues. As long as the motherboard support Kentsfield processors then these XEON's will work fine. We have stock arriving tomorrow with more available.

Hmmmm so any board that supports a Kentsfield huh - does that include the ds3p ?
