I Know a Xeon's are a server chip with higher quality a such i'm just wondering what this chip is referenced home chip wise to an i5 i7 etc?:D

There is the Lynnfield series of CPU's.

As you can see, there is no "direct" comparison at the same clockspeed, but you get the idea.

Looks like an Intel® Core™ i7-870S Processor or an Intel® Core™ i5-750 Processor
(8M Cache, 2.66 GHz).

Dunno what the difference between an i5 and an i7 on the same 1156 socket is though??? EDIT:- ahhh its Hyperthreading
