Having seen that these chips should be available at the same time as the Q6600 they seem like the Intel equvalent og the old s939 Opterons and as such will OcUK be stocking them. Particularly the slower (cheaper) variety?

These chips are s775 like the Core 2 Quads and shoud work in any mobo that already accepts a Core 2 quad.
