Xeon X5660 worth changing to i7490 non k

Currently running a Xeon X5660 @4.2ghz. Came across an I74790 non k version and cant decide if its worth the hassle of changing? all I would need is a new mobo but not convinced I would notice the difference in gaming?

Not worth it if you can't overclock.

You would probably some performance gain, but I wouldn't have thought it'd be worth the outlay.

Think I'll will leave it then and wait to go down the socket 2011 route when i need to seeing as the 1366 has served me well for 5 years!

Anything multi-cored and you'd see a dip in performance. My 5650 is faster than any 4690/4790K running cinebench on the scores submitted here.

Wouldnt say it was worth it at all unless you want something like SATA3 or USB3 (neither of which I need)

And if you need USB 3 (I did, I have three USB 3 devices), just buy a pci card, around a fiver from the usual suspects.
