Well i know this is going to be strange but my soundcard drivers every 1 month or 3 weeks they vanish without me doing nothing just a restart...

I formated my computer recently and it still does the same thing :S

Maybe bad soundcard? or because i have an old motherboard ..//?

When you say the drivers vanish, how can you tell? Are all the programs uninstalled? Is there a question mark in device manager?

Can you also tell us which drivers and O/S you're using, as if it's Vista, Creative recently released a new batch of drivers which you can either order on CD or download through a torrent.

However from the limited info, I would:
- uninstall driver and programs / utilities etc
- delete card from device manager
- do a cold reboot, power off etc
- reboot and install with latest drivers

well thats wath i always do i uninstall drivers, remove souncard, insert, reboot and install driver but stilll....the drivers wich i installed like 2weeks ago just vanished today

(bdw the drivers are still there but it tells me found new hardwere as if the soundcard had just been inserted with no drivers because when i click on the xfi audio console it tells me that there is no audio device for the drivers (some sort of collision)

Im using Xp sp2 32bit (home edition)
