Well what can i say.
This card is so impressive is a great start. The sounds and effects pushed by xfi sound cards are unbelievable. During my excitment, i just rushed straight into a game of quake4 and was wowed by the sounds. What i Didnt notice was the mode switcher. which has 3 selections entertainment mode,Audio creation and game mode. I had mine set to music(TRUST ME THERES A DIFFERANCE) So i switched to dedicated games mode. And omg you can tell where there coming from, Even little bits tweaked on jump pads enclosed like on heartless, you can here a slight echo while going up jump pads. Tbh gamers have to get used to all the new audio placement. So it can get confusing when you have rails and rockets going off all round you. as each sound can be heard from every direction. 1v1 u can pick the enemy out even easyer.
Using my sennhieser hd 485 headphones the audio presentation is crisp clear and accurate.
Movies sound awsome even with headphones you get a real surround feel.
Audio creation sweet i havent used.
The outside module is well built and feels nice.
But for you guys that have windows on your cases creative have xfi on the side of the card thats illuminated in blue. which i like hehe.
