XFi Extreme Music question

Im using a sb live card at the moment with a 5.1 sound system(Z-680). and cds and mp3s plays out of 4 speakers. With the XFi Extreme Music card will my music still come out of 4 speakers or does the card use all 5 speakers when your listerning to music, Cos I think the center speaker will just mess up the sound?

When I was using my onboard sound, listerning to music came out of all 5 speakers, so I really hope when I get the XFi Extreme Music next week my music still uses the 4 speakers and not 5.

It comes out of the five, but how can that mess it up? I'm listening to music now and it sounds great! But if you didn't want that then just change the speaker selection in the settings to 4.1 and all is well.

the stereo is just mess up with a center speaker somehow and plus the center speaker is louder then the other 4.... You get me at all guys?

Can't you just select a 2 channel mode? (no sound expansion)
