XFi Fatal1ty + Gigaworks s750

Hi,

I have an XFi Fatal1ty soundcard and GigaWorks s750 speakers. I just noticed that sound wasn’t coming out of all of my speakers (7.1 set up) so I launched the creative console and ran the assignment and polarity tests and the speakers are all over the place.....and keep shifting!

Every time I run the tests it picks different speakers for different channels and can even change which speakers work. I've had the front right thinking its front centre, the front left thinking its the subwoofer, sometimes one or both of the sides work - and the same with the rears.

Has anybody ever experienced this? I've even had all the wires out and re-done everything (even though I knew they hadn’t changed).

The phase/speaker test shifts every second or so. Badly written calibration utility, it should stay on that channel until you select another speaker.

I don't know if you haven't understood my problem or I don't understand what you're saying. Now it thinks my center speaker is front left channel, front right speaker is center channel, side right speaker is front right channel, rear right speaker is side right channel, rear left speaker is rear right channel and front left speaker is the subwoofer. With nothing coming out of the sub or rear left speaker.
