Been hearing a few horror stories about incompatibility with Nforce4 motherboards and was wondering if anyone had problems with these two bits of kit?

The gamer is a retail low profile version, so i'm guessing that should theoretically cut out the problems as the revised card was modded with a heatsink etc, is that correct?

Got the gamer ordered to be picked up for £55, but would like to make sure am not putting myself forward for days of misery trying to sort this out as am not a fan of the EPOX mobo, and if anything is going to upset the XFI it will be something made by the clueless company EPOX.

I have a 9NPA+ Ultra and X-Fi XtremeMusic OEM. No problems here at all. I actually love both (also have a 9NDA+) of my EPOX boards, and really hated my DFI NF4 Infinity

Cheers info and thanks for the reply.

Want to run my 360 through the XFI which then will run to either an amp or direct to speakers, but also want some decent quality for mp3 playback which i find the on board struggling to do.

As for the EPox, dont like the chipset fan, makes way too much noise and the placement of the power input to the board is criminal.
