XFI optical out dead?

hey all, i have my Xfi plugged into my amp by analogue for games and digital for music.

when i turned on my pc today, my optical out was dead, nothing at all, the amp said connect lead.

ive checked my cables, made positively sure my amp isnt at fault, and made sure the cables are worknig fine,

the analogue works perfectly but the digital optical out doesnt.

any ideas anyone?

the card is an Xfi platinum with the breakout box.

Check the settings haven't somehow reverted to optical out disabled.

ok, some update news, lol

the sound works through, audio creation mode, but none of the other modes, ive checked every option, clicked every button and done x, y, and z.

please help someone :mad:
