Xfi Problem

Hey All,

For some reason when I play DVD in their PowerDVD or WMP 11 I cant hear them talk, well I can't hear anything, but when I play mp3s in WMP 11 I can hear them and all of the Windows notifications I can hear as well... any ideas??

Is there a setting on powerdvd to choose your sound output? Make sure the X-fi is selected.

Try Video Lan Player it plays almost everything, even .img files.

On PowerDVD its greyed out I can't select anything

have you got the right speaker configuration, it might be that its sending it to the centre speaker and you havn't got one?

in the xfi volume panel there is the option to mix individual speakers check that the right ones have an output level also thecmss-3d option might have affected something.

Try a different player, get Nero showtime if you dont already have it.

Get hold of Media Player Classic. Its got all the options you need and its free..
