Scanned few the forums and found a few people with XFI problems, but not quite the same sort of thing as me.
Installed all fine, I think i have the settings all working fine for my 7.1 speakers. But for some reason when I switch to headphones the sound goes all funky. Its like its trying to balence it, because sounds start quiet when they begin and then suddenly become clear. Changing the speaker setup from 7.1 to 2.1 fixed this
I use a program called Ableton for making and mixing music as well and I've had similar problems in that. One track it seriously distorted, dropped the treble and put the bass full. A reboot fixed this.
I think the drivers setup via that daft console thing are absolutely rubbish. end up going through loads of menus trying to find what you need.
