Xfire 5850 issue

Hi all

Got my 5850's running in xfire and all is well with the world when playing BF3 etc when they are standard.

However, if I run the AMD Overdrive auto tune and set both cards to the values returned by the lowest card (865 and 1215) my PC hangs after a few minutes in game.

I also get the flickering in Win7 associated with the cards at whatever I set over standard - I believe this is common, but is fine when in game so I just set the oc's to a profile to launch with the game.

Question is has AMD Overdrive clocked them too far and causes the crashing or do I need to somehow increase voltages or something else?

use MSI afterburner and overclock manually, I got 815/1100 on mine

Do they need to be overclocked? Mine ran everything I threw at them in 1080p with no issues.

what FPS were you getting? some of us don't like to go under 60

I'll try with afterburner then. Running 1920x1200.

I get 100ish FPS in BF3 with them clocked at High detail, but it can drop way below 60 as standard.

I'll see if I can get on with 815/1100.
