Evening all,

Have a slight issue with one of the cards running at up to 110'C under load.
Shouldn't I be getting distortions if this is the real temperature?

I'm using MSI Afterburner.

Thanks

Bear with me because this is going to sound strange and I can't explain it.

I normally run two 19" monitors, but since I was playing a nice looking game I decided to see what it would be like on a 50" 3D screen.
The game ran fine but I noticed the secondary GPU getting very hot.
I assumed this was down to the higher resolution, but the primary normally runs hotter.

I decided to try it with just the one monitor until I resolved this issue.
On the off chance I decided to reconnect the second monitor and now it's fine again.

The primary now runs at 80'C and the secondary at 55'C on about 80% load.
I really can't explain this, I would have thought an extended desktop would cause higher temperatures.
