Ok, settle an arguement if you would.

I have just given a mate a GTX260 to plop into a PC he is knocking up for his kids.

Now, he has a 260 in his own PC, so I said to him, to plonk them both into his PC and play about with SLI.

His Mobo does not do SLI and so I said ok then, try it for PhysX.

Anyway, he is under the impression that they will wreck his PC, and I am not.

I said that it will either work or it wont, but I am sure that it simply will not wreck his PC in any way, but he is adamant that it will.

But now I am in a sort of need to know mode, so I am asking ... Is it safe?

Thanks all.

I must clear something up... Its not a matter of being ungrateful, he is certainly more than grateful and the arguement we are having is more of an " in Jest, between mates " Kind of arguement than anything else.

After all... I gave him the card for his kids PC and as it turns out, both that one and his own are both GTX 260 cards and so I suggested ( rather forcefully I admit ) that he could use them together.

Anyway I agree... Even though his entire PC bar the case are all cast offs from me, he will no doubt be blaming me if something silly does happen, so yeah... I will leave him to it. It probably wont get him anything worth writing home about anyway I recon.

Thanks all.
