Im just to about to buy as in the next 24 hours another 6950 to go xfire but ive read rumours that the 7000 series could be here by november so it got me to thinking do I just stick with 1 6950 at 1900x1200 for now and see what happens or will xfired 6950's last me 2/3 years as that is most probably the next time im going to beable to afford to upgrade my system.

i would suggest holding out until november early next year reason being that when the 7000 serise come out from what i readed and rumor they are base on the new 28nm chip. now a single 6950 will be more than good enough to run most games if not all at that res, if you unlock the card to a 6970 even better. so saving the cash for few more months seam the better choice plus come november if they still haven't released the 7000 serise or it a low end version and mid/high end now out until q1 2012 then atleast the price for a second 6950 would have drop bit or even a early christmas sale to get people to buy.
