Just wondering how many of y'all use xfire? How is it these days? When I last tried it, which was admittedly a long time ago, it seemed pretty bad - quite a few issues with it being a bit of a resource hog, reduced framerates, etc. Is it better these days?

Also, are there any alternatives to it? TBH I'm mainly interested in the stats it collects about time spent in different games - I'm often curious about this. The IM features, etc aren't all that important to me...

I use XFire. Steam friends now collects info about what STEAM games you have been playing. Actually, its probably best to not know that i have playing thousands of hours of games . . .

Yeah, actually what brought it to my mind was the new steam stuff. It doesn't seem to collect any info about 3rd party games though - even though it has the option to add them as shortcuts.
