XFX 280 OR MSI 760?

Hi guys! I'm just here to ask if any of you have had any experience with these cards, I know some people have said that the R9 cards have some problems with drivers and they run a lot hotter that Nividia's cards..

I'm sort of jumping between getting the MSI 760 2GB and the XFX 280 3GB..

I'm going to be playing games at 1080p resolutions and not many high res games like Arma 3 or DayZ. Mainly games like Civ 5, CS GO, BF4 etc..

So what would you guys opt for I personally am verging towards the 760 just simply because I know its a trusted card and a lot of people have praise for it, but its the same story as the 280.. Anyways thanks for reading and repls are hugely accepted

R9 280X can be found really cheaply now. Better than both those cards and similar price.. 280X makes most sense around that budget level imho.
