i just need to know if it is quiet enough for my htpc setup if anyone has one
or would ocuk let me buy one and then if it is not quiet enough let me rma it for a credit note towards a passive 5450 when they get them in ? (well you never know till you ask :D)

They are very quiet, will be perfect for an HTPC and even a budget gaming rig like mine.

You'll only be able to hear it a 100% fan speed and since its a very cool running card it'll never reach that.

Infact, You'll probably be able to just switch the fan off.

These are good cards, had a Powercolor one myself, could play crysis, on a mixture of medium and minimum. Very good for such a cheap card. They do Overclock quite nicely. Had mine running at 710 clock 1020 memory.

Mentioning the speeds made me look at the original post, Its either a typo or the XFX ones have been updated since I bought mine is 600/500 and maxing out at 680/520.

What did you use to clock them? anything over 690 caused artefacts appearing on the screen. Managed to just get it running on 720, the test didn't run with amazing graphics.

By the memory, yours over clocked would be 1040mhz effective ( what the spec is showing) Otherwise it would be 400mhz.

Thats a very good price.
Could iamgine them beeing decent to Cross fire and probably match a single 4850 at that price.
