Hey

This has just come to my attention, when playing WoW, only on 'good settings' with shadows on low, according to CCC my activity of graphics card is 99%. While temperatures are around 74c and fan speed is at 50% (but still very loud)

Is it me or does 99% sound extremely high?

EDIT: Though now I'm just standing around and it's only at around 50%. Ahh started moving and it shot back up

Depends on your frame rates. If you're getting 15 FPS and 99% usage then there's a problem, if you're getting high FPS and 99% usage then it's simply using the card to its whole ability.

Getting around 115 currently, but It can go a lot lower. Still wouldn't think it would use all of it's 'potential'

Really need to install my Akasa AK-VC03-BLUV Vortexx NEO VGA Cooler as well. Should put temps down a fair bit and the noise. It doesn't say it fits a 4890 on the box but OCUK website says otherwise. I took all the screws off the card a few weeks ago when I bought it, but there were a few smaller ones on the backplate which I couldn't remove -.- Need a smaller screwdriver

If you got vsync off then the card will run as fast as it can to achieve as many FPS as it can. If you were running at 100% and getting poor FPS or the GPU was far off 100% usage then that would be signs of a problem.
