XFX 5870 screen flicker?

Just bought and installed XFX 5870 in my Pc .
Installed latest catalyst drivers 11.3 for W7 32 bit ..
Seem to be getting slight screen flicker when i open close web pages like at outer edges of the screen ...
Monitor is oldish Samsung Syncmaster 226BW..
Is there a driver issue with W7 or do i need to adjust settings etc..Also does it matter what DVI port i am in...

Try booting in safe mode and using driver sweeper to clear the drivers. Then download some older versions of drivers from AMD and keep updating the drivers until you find one problem free.
Try switching the DVI cable and also try another DVI port.
If that doesn't work then try another monitor if possible.
