XFX 5900xt Flash. Please read and HELP me!
Hi i have been trying to flash my XFX 5900xt 390/800 quite a few times now but it seems to no avail.
It is now flashed to a XFX 5900nu. 400/700 it is now OC to 483/868.
What i'd ideally like is a XFX 5950u.
Now if i put back the card to its defult 400/700 and then flashed it to a XFX 5950u would this work?
The reason i ask is .cos i read that i cant flash a 5900xt as its 2.8ns and a 5950 is 2.2ns or something like that if you know what i mean.
Whenever i did flash it to a 5950 it did seem to work but the AGP went from 8x to 4x and i didnt really get much difference benchmarks.And it wasnt stable when OC.
What i am asking for is advice.
Also a bog standard 5900 is able to flash to a 5950 as far as am aware but the xt isnt.So now mine is a bog standard 5900 would i now be able to flash it?
1 last thing:How many times can you flash a card?
