xfx 650i Ultra and smartfan

Hi

I've just recently acquired a xfx 650i ultra because of the overclocking capabilities (meant to be really good). Anyway, my problem is i have a freezer pro 7 heatsink on my cpu and the noise coming off my fan is so loud, i read here that maybe you cant enable smartfan, is this true its so damn loud

I was also wondering if there was a bios update or sth that would enable you to do this?

Any help would be appreciated as its a really nice board bar this little problem.

Just install Speedfan and see if you can control it from the Mobo header.

Google for latest Beta build once you install latest build as it supports a lot of newer mobos (you only get a new .EXE.)
