XFX 6800xt

Hi all,

was wondering if anyone knows if this card will unlock from 8 pipes to 12 or 16 and run stable without an external pci-e power connector.

Google it and make up your own mind. Seems to me that it actually has 12 pipes, 4 locked. Dunno about the power.

the pictures suggest it uses a 4 pin molex. It should run fine, unlocked.

Do not get the 512MB version, no extra performance, but for more cash.

I have not unlocked / overclocked it mate. Happy enough with stock settings.

I was under the assumption only agp 6800's unlock.

Not particularily sure, I have a Pci-e 6800 nu and it doesn't unlock.

How many pipes has your 6800nu have ???
