XFX 6870 worth getting?

Local shop has a 2nd hand XFX 6870 for £155, it's boxed and like new. Comes with a warranty from the shop for 12 months which aint bad. The item is used.

Is it worth upgrading too? Currently using an 8800GTX

Its only £15 more and comes with 3 years warrenty. Its also brand new. I own a 6870 and used to own a 8800gtx. I can tell you now its a huge step up.

I've an 8800GTX and ASUS EAH4350 i can trade with them for the XFX 6870 thats my thinking. Easyer than having to put it online. They offered me £60 for the 2 cards if i was doing an exchange on an item of theres.

Would be nice to have a matching Asus card to my mobo but the XFX looks a good deal. I guess there is always BIOS flashing maybe

I will hopefully be back there Thursday then to sort it out! I did have a look around for others and price doesn't look bad if i wanted a 2nd or 3rd

I've been playing with SETI@home and it's tempting me to go bigger! Would love 4 but 3 is all i can run. Depends if i get this 1st one and what not

Good news, got the XFX 6870 just. I was given £60 exchange valve for my 2 cards (8800GTX & EAH4350). I pointed out the price for the 6870 new and 2nd hand online and got them down to £130 for it. So it only cost me £70 as the 2 cards i traded i got for free over time. Pretty happy with it.
