XFX 6870

I've been contemplating deal deal for today with regards to the xfx 6870.

I currently own a GTX 480 with a gelid icy vision, and am contemplating selling this hopefully for around the £200 mark.

The next move would be to pick one of the 6870's at £124.99 and flog the games hopefully leaving me with a 6870 for about £95.

The idea is I would like to put the money towards a new gen card when they are released but don't really want to suffer until then.

I play at 1980x1200, arma 2 is the most intense game I play. Alls I want to know is, will i really notice a difference? I will be overclocking, I just LOVE a bargain and am quite tempted by going ATI (amd) again

the 6870 is worse than the 480.

Keep your 480 until the next gen

you will notice, but probably won't affect you much.
I don't have experience with Arma 2 so can't comment for sure.

Honestly, just keep the 480 until the net gen!
