XFX 6970

I'm a long time reader but first time poster, so hi

I know it's early days and not many people have seen examples but can anyone tell me if all the 6970's, or specifically the XFX one, have the black back plate/cover on the back of the pcb?

I've been waiting to update from a 4870 and i've recently bought a case (NZXT Phantom) so i can see all the components so i want it to look nice and neat The look is important to me.

I see from the live pics of the pre order cards that some have red PCB's which rules them out. I would get the HIS one but personally i hate the picture stickers they put on graphics cards and the XFX one looks better than the others.

yes~~all the ref 6970 and 6950 have the black back plate.

Hi guys, only joined ocuk today, im trying to buy a 6970 but i need to use two vouchers i already bought is this possible? I know this is probably the wrong place to be asking but if anyone knows the answer id be very gratefull

@DaveGTY all cards out will be reference design with black back plate going by recent trends but the xfx cards havent hit ocuk yet so we couldnt say for certain

Got the vouchers sorted, but it keeps rejecting my card, ive checked all the details are correct, theres enough funds and ive phoned my bank and they say theres been no attempt to take the funds

I had this once before, try using it at a cash machine then it should unlock.
