i have this old mobo I want to give to my son it has no ram and all I no is ya ddr 2 what ram can I use in it .

Any DDR2 that you can find. You should be able to pick up some 800mhz stuff cheap enough second hand. Just don't pay new prices on DDR2 for such a ancient board.

I got some ddr 2 of the bay but it wouldn’t fit into the ram slots maybe the fella I bought it off hadn’t a clue lol.

If it didn't fit in the slots then it isn't DDR2 and may be someone trying it on. Silly question but you did try it the other way around? The little slot that the tab in the socket goes into is offset from the center.

Hi have some Patriot DDR2 ram here 2 sticks low latency gear came out of my Alienware thing! also got 4 sticks of crucial Ballistix 4gig kit. Is your Address head for the sun then turn left?

I tried it both ways mate no joy even when I line the 2 sticks up and he one I bought doesn’t match the one I have .
