right ive just replaced my msi p7n platinum with an xfx 780i mb, ive done all the tests that you should do and its all great so i thought about overclockin my q9550 cpu, got it up to 3.5ghz dont want to go anymore as its being air cooled till my corsair h50 comes. but when using cpu-z its flutuates between x6 and x8.5 in the multiplier,which meens it drops from 3.5 to 2.5, is this supposed to happen or have i not turned something off in the bios?

This is normal, you need to disable intel speedstep in bios to stop it fluctuating.

ok cool, also i have 4gb ocz sli ready ddr2 800 mhz installed, on the msi it saw all 3gb that 32 bit windows does, now shows only 2.5gbs do you have any idea how i can make windows see all 3gb, other than installing w7 64bit?
