Hi all,

Just built a new PC, fancied trying out some Intel. Anyway, I've got my fan blowing directly on the GPU and can't seem to get the idle temps down from around 55-56 degrees C. Load temps hit 79 degrees when playing WoW over three screens earlier tonight, should I be worried?

Perhaps you can use my temperature values as a reference.

I'm using a Sapphire 7950 Vapor-X. Temperatures are:

Also the VRM temperatures are 36c and 38c. Room temperature 24.6c.

Your temperatures seem pretty high compared to mine but are still very acceptable.

Idle temps are always higher when running multiple screens

I had a 7850 MSI TF3 card before this and I was seeing max temps under load of around 55-60 degrees C. Seems somewhat worse, so you say these temps should be safe?

Temps are affected by a few things

Room temp, case air flow, fan profile also certain games will make your cards run hotter.

It's been a while since I ran eyefinity, but those temps don't seem excessively high.
