AMD VGA Range - View Here!

Between cards like this and decent SFX PSUs gaining more traction, I'm hopeful my next rig will make my current Node 304 build look large and bulky. Huzzah for prices coming down to more affordable levels!

Would have thought 850W would be safer bet as the listing suggests over 500W for one?

It's probably the most efficient GPU on the market with a 175w TDP. Two of them is 350 watts.

That 500 watt advice is for cheap and nasty PSUs

Great move from AMD. They have a very competitive range of cards on the market now:

390 has very similar performance to a 970 but is far cheaper, and comes with over double the memory. 390 uses far more power though.

Nano has better performance than a 980 while being cheaper. Has the same amount of memory.

Fury X is competitive with the 980TI, runs far cooler than the refrence 980TI, and uses less power when both cards are overclocked (though the Fury doesn't overclock as much as the 980ti).

I think their hand has been forced somewhat, rather than it necessarily being some brilliant commercial move ;).
