XFX and EVGA defecting?

Interesting indeed, although I wonder how much of the step-up program has caught up with EVGA now that prices on the GT200 series have been slashed.

They're definitely jumping ship to Intel. Larrabee was going to need some major partners to be successful, and it looks like the overpriced GTX series has come at just the right time for Intel, netting them Nvidia's two biggest partners.

I have it on good authority, the new partner is the Bitboys!

Unless they're losing money hand over fist, I can't see them leaving Nvidia now to go to Intel, not without some major financial inducement from the latter. Larrabee doesn't release for some time yet - what are these guys going to sell in the meantime?

Subxero: there's not really much point re-reading an nvidia article written by charlie...it will be biased and twisted to portray nvidia in the worst possible light.
