XFX CrossFire

i have this video card XFX HD 5850 725M 1GB DDR5 and now i want to buy this one 2GB XFX HD 6870
i want to ask you guys if can work in CrossFire ?

Don't think you can, you need to use the same model.

can't xfire 5xxx with a 6xxx, can xfire 5xxx with 5xxx(e.g. 5850 with a 5870 or even a 5970).

aha but its worth to change 5850 with 6870 i juts want more 3d future for my 47" tv ,3d display

not much gain from 5850 to 6870, either get a 2nd 5850 or just wait a bit untill the new amd/nvidia cards are released.
