Just placed my order (OC947359), seems to be plenty in stock, choose DPD Saturday Delivery for 26th ... what happens if they don't get around to it?

A quote from DPD website:

As a result of the delivery backlog caused by the bad weather we will now open on Saturday 26th December and make deliveries between 9am and 1pm

Nope, saturday is not the standard delivery date. You have to pay extra for them to deliver on saturday. I had to pay £11 once for them to bring it over on a Sat. Needless to say, I was a little impatient at the time :p

I did pay for Saturday del, but there was questions around whether DPD were doing 26th Deliveries ... according to their website they are, but Fatboy couldnt confirm ... Hopefully will do!
 
Order shipped woo :D. First crossfire/multi gpu setup I'll have owned heh. Shame ican't put it my system till the 3rd :(.
 
I'm impressed! Was shipped late yesterday evening. Arrived at my door at 3 pm along with the rest of my build :D Anyway, I'm off to test crysis once it's finished installing.

P.s. building and setting a pc while drinking beer probably wasn't the best idea but it's all up and running. Don't drink and drivers!
 
im blown away by this card! crysis was the first thing i did too. turned everything on, including 8xAA and i have yet to drop below 28fps, staying around the 30 - 40 mark (for me thats pretty darn good) AND thats with a intel q6600 @ 3.0, with a very old and dying nforce 680i mobo. thank you AMD!

edit: yes, ok my resolution was 1680 x 1050, but that just means i can play it 'the way its meant to be played'
 
Only done the first bit of the first level so not a real test but I was getting 35-50fps maxed 8xAA also on 1680x1050

On my old 8800GTX i got 20fps on medium :D
 
haha its great isnt it! well, i had an 8800gt before this, and im a graphics man, so it was pure torture seeing what that game did to my pc. i actually think im gonna restart the game, just so i can have a better time! besides, it wont take me half the time it took me to get to where i was now does it ;D
