XFX GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB question

[Trebor901]

Is this the actual card you get when you buy this? So is it actually the Alpha Dog Version as pictured?

It may look like that not sure but it does not have the same clocks as the alpha dog in the spec.

welcome to the forums

there are better options in the £100 mark atm

ati 4850
nvidia 9800gtx+

[grudas]

get ati 4850 for £6 more will be around if not faster than 8800gtx

[TheRealDeal]

As above there are better cards this one for £6 more would be around 20% on average faster over a wide range of games. Link below. Its a good bit faster than a 8800gtx in quite a lot of games i don't think it loses to the gtx in any games that i seen in the anandtech review.

Did you buy it new or second hand? If it was new then deffo get a refund and get the 4850 for only a little extra You'll thank me, somewhere down the line
